The Story

I'm a December 2023 CS graduate from Texas State University, but the real story starts earlier than that.

I've been running some kind of business since I was 13 — concession stands, side hustles, whatever I could get going. That eventually led to co-founding a chiropractic clinic in Austin in 2016, managing it through growth, systematizing the operations until I'd worked myself out of my own job, and then going back to school to get serious about the technical side of things.

Now I build data pipelines. Real ones, with real data — not tutorial datasets. A chiropractic clinic's 9 years of revenue. Live Walt Disney World ride wait times ingested hourly into Snowflake. A commission automation tool that replaced a multi-hour monthly process with a single command.

My background as an operator means I think about data differently than most engineers. I don't just ask "does the pipeline run" — I ask "does this answer a question someone actually needs answered."

I'm based in Houston, TX and actively relocating to Central Florida, targeting Data Engineer and Analytics Engineer roles. Disney Corporate in Orlando is the dream, but I'm open to any role where I can build infrastructure that matters.

Outside the Terminal

When I'm not building pipelines you'll find me on the golf course, out fishing, or behind a camera. The photography is casual — but casual enough to justify a full frame camera that's aging faster than I'd like to admit. Still gets the job done.
